Compared with smooth PEI, the textured surface provides a different surface finish and adhesion profile. The stainless spring-steel core is designed to withstand temperatures up to 300°C, providing two usable printing surfaces in one plate and helping reduce replacement waste. Suitable for PLA, ABS, PETG, and PC when used with the printer’s recommended settings.
  • 【Flexible Design for Easier Print Removal】 Place the removable plate on the heated bed, align it correctly, and follow your printer’s leveling procedure before printing. Allow the plate and model to cool to room temperature whenever possible, as cooling often helps the print release more easily. If needed, gently flex the spring-steel plate to assist removal and reduce the need for scraping or adhesives. Avoid excessive bending and sharp tools.
  • 【Cleaning & Maintenance】 Clean the PEI surface with 75% isopropyl alcohol or mild soap and water, then dry it completely. For stubborn residue, warm the plate to about 150°C only if allowed by the printer or plate instructions. Turn off the heater and let it cool before cleaning with a soft, non-abrasive brush. Clean about every 50 hours or when adhesion changes. Keep the plate flat and maintain normal spring action; follow the specified spring force, about 5 N where applicable.
  • 【Leveling and Surface Protection】 Set the nozzle-to-plate distance according to your printer’s calibration to help prevent scratches. Some setups may use an offset in the 0.2–0.3 mm range, but this value is not universal; always follow your printer’s recommended settings. Use real-time sensing and dynamic compensation only when supported by the printer. Dust, residue, scratches, and worn PEI coating can affect print quality and service life. PEI is a consumable surface, and its lifespan depends on printing frequency, temperature, cleaning, and handling.
