ABOUT STEMORA
Stemora is an online retailer offering STEM education supplies, science experiment materials, microscopy and biology learning products, laboratory organization items, measurement and observation tools, electronics and circuit-learning supplies, educational robotics components, 3D-printing accessories, maker tools, and classroom project supplies.
Products offered through Stemora are generally intended for educational, classroom, hobby, maker, demonstration, organizational, or supervised project use. The specific purpose, recommended age, specifications, included components, warnings, and restrictions applicable to an item are determined by the relevant product description, packaging, manufacturer documentation, and applicable law.
Unless expressly stated on the product page, Stemora products are not represented as professional laboratory, industrial, diagnostic, clinical, medical, therapeutic, or life-safety equipment.
EDUCATIONAL-USE NOTICE
Science kits, models, slides, specimen containers, laboratory accessories, measuring tools, electronics, robotics components, and maker products sold through Stemora are intended to support learning and practical educational activities.
Educational products may demonstrate scientific principles but should not be treated as substitutes for accredited instruction, professional testing, certified laboratory procedures, or advice from a qualified teacher, scientist, engineer, healthcare professional, electrician, or other specialist.
Results from educational experiments can vary because of environmental conditions, user technique, component tolerances, calibration, storage conditions, material differences, or other factors. Stemora does not guarantee that every experiment or project will produce a particular result unless such a guarantee is expressly provided in writing and permitted by law.
NOT FOR MEDICAL OR CLINICAL USE
Unless a product page expressly identifies an item as lawfully approved or certified for a specific medical or clinical purpose, products sold by Stemora must not be used to diagnose, monitor, prevent, treat, or cure any illness, disease, injury, or health condition.
Microscope slides, specimen containers, droppers, pipettes, test tubes, biology models, sample-storage products, measuring devices, and similar items are offered for educational or general-purpose use unless expressly stated otherwise.
Product names or descriptions containing terms such as “lab,” “specimen,” “sample,” “biology,” or “science” do not by themselves indicate that a product is sterile, food-safe, medical-grade, pharmaceutical-grade, or suitable for human or animal diagnostic use.
Do not use an educational product for handling infectious, hazardous, biological, medical, pharmaceutical, or controlled materials unless the product is specifically designed, labeled, and legally authorized for that use.
AGE RESTRICTIONS AND ADULT SUPERVISION
Some products may contain small parts, sharp edges, glass components, magnets, batteries, electrical parts, chemicals, heated surfaces, moving components, or tools capable of causing injury if used improperly.
Age recommendations and safety warnings shown on product pages or packaging must be followed. Products are not automatically suitable for children merely because they are educational or used in a classroom.
Children and minors must use products only under the direct supervision of a responsible adult, educator, or other qualified supervisor. The supervising adult is responsible for assessing whether an activity is suitable for the user’s age, ability, experience, and environment.
Products containing small parts, button or coin batteries, magnets, sharp components, or other ingestion and injury hazards must be kept away from young children and vulnerable persons. Stop using any damaged, incomplete, leaking, overheated, or malfunctioning item immediately.
EXPERIMENT AND CHEMICAL SAFETY
Before beginning any experiment, read all product instructions, ingredient information, hazard statements, safety data, and disposal requirements provided with the product.
Use appropriate personal protective equipment when recommended, including eye protection, gloves, protective clothing, or ventilation. Do not taste, ingest, inhale, or directly touch experimental substances unless the instructions expressly state that doing so is safe.
Never mix substances or components in a manner not specifically authorized by the product instructions. Keep food, beverages, pets, and unrelated household materials away from experiment areas.
Chemistry accessories or experiment tools offered by Stemora do not authorize or imply the use of dangerous, prohibited, explosive, corrosive, toxic, or otherwise regulated substances.
ELECTRONICS AND ROBOTICS SAFETY
Circuit kits, breadboards, jumper wires, motors, sensors, power modules, battery holders, robotics components, and related products must be used only within their stated voltage, current, temperature, and compatibility limits.
Disconnect power before assembling, adjusting, or troubleshooting a circuit unless the instructions specifically require otherwise. Do not connect educational components directly to household mains electricity.
Incorrect wiring, reversed polarity, short circuits, unsuitable power supplies, damaged batteries, excessive loads, or incompatible components may result in equipment damage, overheating, electric shock, burns, fire, or other injury.
A qualified and responsible adult should supervise projects involving electricity, batteries, soldering, rotating machinery, or powered tools. Batteries must be installed, stored, transported, and disposed of according to their instructions and applicable regulations.
3D PRINTING AND MAKER SAFETY
3D-printer nozzles, hotend parts, build plates, cutting tools, scrapers, print-removal tools, and other maker accessories may involve high temperatures, sharp surfaces, moving machinery, fumes, dust, or mechanical hazards.
Always follow the printer or tool manufacturer’s operating and maintenance instructions. Allow heated components to cool before handling them, use suitable ventilation, and wear appropriate protective equipment.
Compatibility must be confirmed before installing replacement nozzles, hotend accessories, build surfaces, motors, brackets, or other mechanical parts. Modifying equipment may affect the original manufacturer’s warranty or safety certification.
Resins, solvents, adhesives, coatings, and finishing materials must be handled and disposed of according to their manufacturer’s safety documentation and local requirements.
PRODUCT INFORMATION AND IMAGES
We make reasonable efforts to provide accurate product titles, descriptions, dimensions, specifications, compatibility information, warnings, photographs, and availability information.
Nevertheless, minor differences may occur due to manufacturer updates, production changes, screen settings, photography, packaging revisions, or information supplied by manufacturers and distributors. Colors and proportions displayed on a screen may not exactly match the physical product.
Product images may include demonstration materials, accessories, tools, or background objects that are not included in the purchase. Customers should review the written “included items,” specifications, and product details before ordering.
If information on a product page appears unclear, inconsistent, or materially incomplete, please contact us before placing the order. If we discover a material error after an order is placed, we may contact the customer to confirm a correction, offer a suitable alternative, or cancel and refund the affected item as permitted by applicable law.
COMPATIBILITY AND MEASUREMENTS
Customers are responsible for reviewing product measurements, connector types, voltage requirements, mounting patterns, material specifications, equipment models, and other compatibility information before purchase.
References to particular printer models, microcontrollers, robotics platforms, tools, or equipment are provided only to describe potential compatibility unless an official affiliation is expressly stated.
Measurements and specifications may be subject to reasonable manufacturing tolerances. Educational measuring instruments are not guaranteed to be calibrated for regulated, commercial, medical, safety-critical, engineering-certification, or legal-metrology applications unless expressly described as suitable for such use.
THIRD-PARTY BRANDS AND TRADEMARKS
All third-party product names, company names, logos, trademarks, service marks, model names, and other identifiers remain the property of their respective owners.
Their appearance on the Stemora website is used, where applicable, for identification, description, comparison, or compatibility purposes. Such references do not imply sponsorship, endorsement, authorization, partnership, or affiliation with Stemora unless expressly stated.
Stemora and Storevia Limited are independent retailers and are not affiliated with Amazon or any other marketplace merely because a product may also be available or sourced through such a marketplace.
PRICING, AVAILABILITY, AND ORDER CORRECTIONS
Prices, promotions, inventory, specifications, and availability may change without prior notice, subject to applicable law. Taxes, shipping charges, customs duties, import fees, or other costs will be disclosed or handled as described during checkout and in our applicable policies.
Placing an order does not necessarily mean that the order has been accepted. Order acceptance, payment processing, cancellation rights, and correction of obvious pricing or listing errors are governed by our Terms of Service and applicable law.
We will not use this provision to avoid fulfilling a valid order merely because market conditions have changed after acceptance.
SHIPPING AND THIRD-PARTY FULFILLMENT
Products may be stored, processed, or shipped by third-party suppliers, logistics providers, or fulfillment partners from locations different from our legal business address.
Estimated delivery dates are estimates rather than guaranteed arrival dates unless a specific guarantee is expressly provided. Shipping conditions, tracking, customs procedures, address requirements, delayed or lost packages, and related remedies are governed by our Shipping & Delivery Policy and applicable consumer law.
The use of a third-party supplier or fulfillment provider does not remove any responsibility that Stemora is legally required to retain as the seller.
RETURNS, REFUNDS, AND PRODUCT ISSUES
Return eligibility, reporting periods, required evidence, return authorization, refund methods, and exclusions are explained in our Return & Refund Policy.
Customers should inspect delivered products promptly and contact us if an item arrives damaged, defective, incorrect, incomplete, or materially different from its description.
Nothing in this Legal Notice limits any statutory right or remedy available for defective, unsafe, misdescribed, or nonconforming products.
EXTERNAL LINKS AND SERVICES
The Stemora website may contain links to manufacturer instructions, educational resources, payment processors, shipping providers, social platforms, or other third-party websites and services.
These external services are operated independently and may have their own terms and privacy practices. A link does not necessarily constitute an endorsement. Stemora is not responsible for third-party content or practices except to the extent responsibility cannot lawfully be excluded.
Customers should evaluate external instructions carefully and confirm that they are relevant to the exact product and application involved.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Unless otherwise stated, the original text, page layout, graphics, branding, collection descriptions, and other original content published on stemora.us are owned by or licensed to Storevia Limited and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
You may access and use website content for personal, noncommercial shopping and informational purposes. You may not reproduce, republish, distribute, modify, scrape, commercially exploit, or create derivative works from protected content without prior written permission, except where permitted by law.
Third-party product images, manuals, trademarks, and manufacturer materials remain subject to the rights of their respective owners.
If you believe content on our website infringes your intellectual-property rights, contact us with identification of the protected work, the allegedly infringing material, your contact information, and a good-faith explanation of your claim.
NO PROFESSIONAL ADVICE
Content published by Stemora is provided for general product, shopping, and educational information. It does not constitute medical, scientific, engineering, electrical, chemical, legal, regulatory, occupational-safety, or other professional advice.
Users should consult an appropriately qualified professional where a project involves hazardous materials, regulated activities, building systems, medical or biological samples, high voltage, structural loads, safety-critical equipment, or circumstances in which failure could result in injury or significant property damage.
WARRANTIES AND LEGAL RIGHTS
Products and website services are provided subject to the express warranties, product descriptions, manufacturer warranties, and statutory protections applicable to the transaction.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Stemora does not make additional implied guarantees concerning uninterrupted website availability, suitability for an undisclosed purpose, compatibility that has not been confirmed, or results that depend on user technique or external conditions.
This section does not exclude or limit warranties, guarantees, duties, or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Stemora and Storevia Limited will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, exemplary, or consequential losses arising from misuse, unauthorized modification, failure to follow warnings, use outside stated specifications, or reliance on the products for a purpose for which they were not designed.
Nothing in this Legal Notice excludes or limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, willful misconduct, gross negligence where it cannot be limited, death or personal injury caused by negligence where exclusion is prohibited, defective-product liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, or any other liability that applicable law does not permit us to restrict.
Any limitation will apply only to the extent it is fair, valid, and enforceable in the customer’s jurisdiction.
COMPLIANCE WITH LOCAL LAWS
Customers are responsible for ensuring that their purchase, importation, possession, installation, and intended use of a product are lawful in the destination country or region.
Certain chemicals, batteries, magnets, electronic components, radio-frequency modules, biological materials, tools, or laboratory accessories may be subject to age, transport, import, certification, disposal, or use restrictions.
This responsibility does not relieve Stemora of any legal duty applicable to us as seller, exporter, importer, distributor, or retailer.
CONFLICTS BETWEEN DOCUMENTS
Product-specific safety warnings and legally required disclosures take priority with respect to the safe handling and use of the relevant product.
Commercial matters such as ordering, payment, account use, dispute procedures, and governing terms are addressed in our Terms of Service. Shipping matters are addressed in our Shipping & Delivery Policy, and return matters are addressed in our Return & Refund Policy.
If any provision conflicts with mandatory law, the mandatory law will prevail, and the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent legally permitted.
CHANGES TO THIS LEGAL NOTICE
We may update this Legal Notice to reflect changes to our products, business practices, service providers, or legal obligations.
The revised version will be published on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Changes will apply prospectively from the date of publication unless applicable law requires otherwise.
