  • NO AA BATTERY PACK TO KEEP REFILLING: Many electric motor kits run from a box of 6 AA batteries. This 14-in-1 power functions motor kit uses a rechargeable lithium battery box instead, and it charges over Micro-USB with the included cable. The receiver is built into the battery box, so there is one less part to mount and wire in your RC car or robot.
  • FOUR OUTPUTS, ONE 10-CHANNEL REMOTE: The battery box has 4 outputs, so drive, steering and 2 extra functions can all plug in at once. The 10-channel remote controller has two sticks plus A, B, C and D buttons, and pressing buttons together runs several outputs at the same time. Motors run while you hold a control and stop when you let go; there is no speed control.
  • MOTORS CHOSEN FOR RC CARS: 2 high-speed L motors, rated about 1,200 rpm, handle the drive. The servo turns 90 degrees each way and springs back to center when you release the control, the way RC steering works. A compact micro motor (about 166 rpm, 1.89 x 0.95 x 0.95 in) fits tight spots like doors, turrets, winches and small engine models.
  • 8 SHOCK ABSORBERS FOR REAL SUSPENSION: The kit includes 4 red shocks (1.97 in) and 4 yellow shocks (2.8 in), so an off-road truck or buggy rides on springs instead of bouncing on a stiff frame. Use the longer yellow shocks where a wheel needs more travel.
  • BLOCK CODING, COMPATIBILITY AND WHAT'S NOT INCLUDED: Besides the remote, the kit works with a phone app that includes graphical block coding, a simple first step into programming for kids and teens. The parts in this motor set are compatible with major building brick brands; bricks, gears and wheels are not included. Tested to ASTM F963 and CPSIA. A birthday or Christmas gift for boys and girls who build motorized models.
